Bridging Gender Gap in AI: An Initiative with Project Data Economy in South Africa

In South Africa, AI for All - FAIR Forward launched the Intel® AI for Current Workforce program for women entrepreneurs and minorities, in collaboration with Project Data Economy (G100), GIZ and Intel. Women entrepreneurs have created AI solutions like detecting credit card fraud, early diagnosis of diabetes, predicting breast cancer, sign language visual translator, and more.

Empowering workforce with AI skills: A collaborative endeavor

Two Indian government agencies - the National Informatics Centre Services Inc. (NISCI) and Invest India - collaborated with Intel for upskilling their current workforce. The goal was to empower the workforce, identify AI business cases, and introduce no-code AI software. This initiative has enabled managers in their upskilling journey from being responsible AI consumers to AI power users and finally AI solution builders in the public sector.

Science Centre Singapore proactively upskills its STEM educator workforce on Al skills

The Science Centre Singapore, specializing in promoting scientific and technological education for the general public, has recognized the need to upskill its educators who run various public education programs. They have rolled out Al Certification of Competency courses in collaboration with the Institute of Technical Education (ITE), a Singapore government vocational institution.
